  Went to return a pepper grinder that had fallen apart. Just wanted a replacement. She made me go get another one to get number and made me wait in line again. Wouldn't replace it because i didn't have receipt. I understand that..but made me feel like I had done something wrong. This lady had no manners and no service skills. I wont be going to Canadian Tire again.

  Her customer service alone stood out and was exemplary, however her kindness and genuine care as a human being did not go unnoticed and is something I will never forget.

  I was at the Westbank location on December 20th 2017, right from the start Elke provided genuinely warm and professional customer service. As I was being helped by her at the till an unexpected personal matter/phone call happened, she remained calm (as I was in a full panic) and had a unique way of providing comfort and empathy at a time I needed it most.

  Always friendly helpful staff at this location. They are knowledgeable about products offered and their location in the store. Wish other stores had this training with their staff. Sure makes it easier to shop!

  I purchased a Shelter Logic Shed in October 2017 and followed the assembly instructions. Within three weeks a windstorm took it from it's footings and flipped it upside down. Shed was completely destroyed. I put a claim through with my insurance as my roof had also sustained some damage and a new shed was purchased. The Restoration Company involved in my claim sent their experts over to have it professionally installed. Went up in a day and looked great. ... for about two weeks. During the first snowfall this shed completely collapsed. It occurred at 3AM and there's nothing I could have done to prevent it; unless ShelterLogic expects you to live in the shed and wake up hourly to remove any small amount of accumulated snow. I went into Canadian Tire to speak with the manager and she brushed me off advising, "There's a little card in the box somewhere that says it's not covered if damaged by snow." I didn't agree to this little warranty card. I should have returned the first one that exploded due to the wind. After being grossly disappointed with this managers inability to look at the situation (brand new shed collapses in first snowfall), I e-mailed ShelterLogic who also were not helpful. Long story short. Don't spend your money at Canadian Tire. They'll take your money, screw you on the return if something goes wrong relying on hidden limited warranties for these products. It may have cost me $500.00 but I won't step into this store again; it's going to cost them a whole lot more as I was a pretty frequent shopper here. 0 Stars.

  Purchased a Shelter Logic 20X8 Shed and Canadian Tire has been TERRIBLE to deal with. 1 Star is too much.

  Nice stocked selection of goods. I found the power cord I needed for my block heater... for a good price too!! The store hours made it hard to get there during my day shift, but once on nights I had all the time in the world to shop. Although I found the Firearm selection to be Very limited.
